The STA Group today announces the launch of The Listed: Tech Charged and In Charge, powered by Sports Tech HQ. This is a new initiative spotlighting the leaders and brands reshaping the global sports innovation landscape.
The Listed comprises two lists, In Charge and Tech Charged, which celebrate individuals and technologies whose decisions, investments, ideas and work are defining how sport’s future is built. From boardrooms to labs, training grounds to capital markets, these honourees represent the sharpest minds and solutions in sports technology in the US today.
Rebecca Hopkins, CEO of The STA Group, said:
“Sport’s future is being written by people who see possibilities others miss. The Listed is about identifying those individuals and technologies and giving them the recognition their influence deserves. It’s not about titles, but about impact.”
The inaugural edition of The Listed, powered by Sports Tech HQ, was unveiled in Indianapolis to coincide with the inaugural TEDSports gathering. It features senior figures from federations, clubs, broadcasters, investors, and start-ups who are demonstrably advancing sport through science, technology, engineering, and design.
Jeff Hintz, Executive Director, Sports Tech HQ, said:
“Indianapolis has always been a city where sport and innovation meet, and Sports Tech HQ exists to make sure that legacy drives the next generation of growth. Being the hub for sports technology means connecting visionaries with resources, talent, and opportunity, and that is exactly why powering The Listed matters. Recognizing the people and brands who are shaping sport’s future aligns perfectly with our mission to position Indianapolis, and the wider US, as a global center for sports innovation.”
Building on The STA Group’s global reputation for celebrating innovation, through initiatives such as The Sports Technology Awards, and The Sports Technology Annual Review, The Listed becomes the latest platform where the industry can pause, take stock, and recognize its trailblazers.
