Format
Two teams of two speakers will propose / oppose the motion, each member speaking for 5 – 8 minutes in turn. After this, all parties will be asked to create a panel and elaborate on any points they made, answer audience questions. An informal curry lunch is then served and each table in the room is given a point to discuss over lunch. After lunch, a table representative is asked to summarize the points from the table and share those with the room. After this, the room is asked to vote on the motion. This is followed by networking drinks.
  • 11.30am – Registration and Networking
  • 12.30pm – The Debate
  • 1.30pm – Lunch
  • 2.45pm – Vote
  • 3pm – Networking Drinks
  • 4.30pm – Close

Work attire of your choosing.
Lunch
In the spirit of this being information and fun, we are doing away with tradition and serving the perennial favourite – curry! Starters will be plated Indian snacks and the mains will be suitable for most palates and dietary requirements.
Complimentary wine, beer and selected non-alcoholic options will be served until coffee.
